ERROR: Expected primary-expression before '.' token

I am fairly new to C++, & I'm starting to learn threading.

The official error I'm getting is:
Expected primary-expression before '.' token.

I am using Code::Blocks, GNU GCC Compiler with c++17

Here is the code snippet of where I the error is happening:
