Recovering corrupted source code?

I was recently using VSEC++ 2010 when I had a computer crash. When I restarted, VSE tried to recover data from the cpp file I was editing, but the entire file is now corrupted. Is there any possible way I can recover this? I have the exe, but I doubt there is an executable to source converter. Ah, I worked a good while on that file. :(
Can't you just open it? .cpps should be just plain text.
Ah, sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear. By corrupted, I mean the entire file is cleared. In any text editor it is just an empty file. Well, except for notepad++, it is a lot of NULL symbols in that. But whatever, I've moved on and got over it by now.
