Short films worth watching

Nov 26, 2024 at 4:35am
I don’t particularly like horror, but this one was great!

The Curse of Dracular
https://youtu.be/kjd6jETfd5c?si=Oa9pabr4-kvrHC6v
(Contains a claymation beheading, jsyk.)

I actually prefer stuff like the ultimate goodness found here:

The Crayon Song Gets Ruined

Please don’t post vulgar or excessively violent stuff.
Or if you do, please tell us first.

Here's a link to the channel of someone that makes "Post apocalyptic short animation films."

Voice over short story - Post apocalyptic diary

Crawling mantis Animated Short Film - Lunch

(this one does show a dead body but the vulgarity is capped by the simple animation)

I'm not sure if it's a 'short' film, it's about 1.5hrs...

ALGORITHM: The Hacker Movie

1.5 hrs is a standard length film, lol. :]

We just recently got a dash cam. Here’s our first video: Lone Deer Crosses Road.

I wouldn’t classify it as necessarily worth watching, tho...

Glad you noticed it and slowed down. It almost hit the oncoming car.

LOL, yeah, it was Melissa driving, I wasn’t in the car, but she saw and slowed down. I am actually surprised it was just the one deer. Usually if you see one then there are more hiding in the trees.

Years ago I worked pumping gasoline and one of the 20-something guys that came in regularly with a red, sporty little import visited with a older grey variation. When asked what he did with his usual ride he explained that it had been totaled. He was driving through the Poconos and saw a deer in the middle of the road. Rather than slow down and wait he figured he could just deftly drive along the right edge of the road to go around it. He said something like:

“That’s when thirty other deer jumped out — and I hit every one of them.”

I laughed and told him he ought not spread that around because the local hunters would be hunting him now. I’m not sure how he took that, but yeah, felt bad for him. He was uninjured, at least.
