We provide analytics and execution for institutional investors looking to deploy capital across Online Lending (i.e. peer-to-peer) exchanges. Investors can utilize complex risk models and investment strategies and execute them with speed and scale. The magnitude of the market and the depth of our vision imply some pretty cool technical problems.

Our platform provides analytics and execution for institutional investors looking to deploy capital across Online Lending (i.e. peer-to-peer) exchanges.


We may have a finance product, but we're a tech culture! Our technical founders have built the markets Google acquired from Admeld, helped build Google's advertising exchanges, and built high frequency trading systems at Bloomberg.


We are designing our platform to scale in all directions! That begins with a robust and extensible backend, capable of supporting high frequency trading as well as complex analytics. In the vein of tech giants like Twitter, FourSquare, LinkedIn, and Yammer, our stack is built on top of Scala and the JVM. It's stable, cutting edge, and exciting!


Engineering only comes second to camaraderie. Video games, guitars, beer time, Sonos - these are a few of our favorite things.

Qualifications
Engineering or Computer Science Background
If you'd like to learn Scala on the job, extensive knowledge of at least one statically and strongly typed OO language such as C++ or Java
Previous experience building high throughput Linux daemons
Experience with multiple relational and hashed data stores such as MySQL, Redis, Memcached and Cassandra
Experience with web infrastructure, distributed systems and performance analysis
Familiar with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
Strive for perfection and know how to achieve that iteratively
