The AMP (Apps, Media & Publishing) worldwide org is a growing, start-up style organization with development teams in multiple locations including Dublin. AMP is responsible for many of the top apps which run on multiple platforms including Windows 8, Windows 8 Phone, Surface and XBOX One. There is a lot of engineering behind these stunning apps and websites: backend services to scale to 100s of millions of users, data ingestion from top partners within and outside Microsoft, stunning UX built on an underlying platform designed to serve multi OS, device and browser experiences. The AMP team in Dublin is looking for passionate people to help create the next iteration of APP’s and services, serving time critical content to millions of users.
This role requires a strong, creative, dynamic, adaptable, detailed oriented Program Manager with a services mentality who excels in oral\ written communication and organizational skills. If you have a passion for product leadership, consumer applications, solid judgement, and a desire to make an impact across an expanding division then this may be the role for you.
You must be capable of thriving in a non-traditional, rapid paced engineering environment where you can think about the end to end technology requirements our apps and websites require - from success metrics to partner API integration and scalability. This position will require the ability to partner with and influence peers in many disciplines globally.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 4+ years’ Program Manager experience.
- Programming experience - C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, SQL.
- Strong technical skills across a broad set of service technologies. Can quickly come up to speed on new products and technologies. Passion to grow technical knowledge.
- Will go deep to learn the ins and outs of the product to deliver the best end-to-end experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong problem solving skills. Overcomes obstacles by resolving issues regardless of team boundaries.
- Flexible\adaptable in a constantly changing environment. Willing to take on big challenges.
- Promotes a positive team environment by modelling behaviour that promotes good morale.

- Experience delivering software on multiple platforms including mobile.
- Usability Testing experience.
- Good knowledge of the Web Media Industry.
