I have been scouring high and low for C++ developers and all the usual channels are coming up with zero return. We are desperate!

Our client is urgently looking for 3 developers with strong C++ skills (must be currently using C++ - ACTUAL CODING not university experience).

NB - This is a 12 month contract position with one of SA's leading credit bureaus in a support role, focusing on keeping an existing system going (no new development to be done), with some face-to-face and telephonic client support.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 - 6 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN ALL OF THE BELOW:
Essential Requirements:
• MS Visual C++ (ONLY V6 and higher) - MINIMUM 3+ years' experience.
• Solid OO working knowledge.
• Solid COM/DCOM experience.

Desirable Skills:
• C#; ASP.NET;XML; Html; CGI; PHP experience in writing internet active applications (18 months).
• Exposure to live production environment with OLTP (Online Transaction Processing), where uptime and performance are paramount.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ODBC.
• Working knowledge of STL beneficial.
• SNA HIS, IBM comms manager.
• Specific exposure to DB2 v9.2+ beneficial.

Must be able to start ASAP.
