Is Effective C++ still a good book to buy?

Hello. I was considering buying Effective C++, Third Edition - but being published in 2005, I realize that it is now out of date (with C++11 being released). Despite this, I was wondering whether it is still a good book to read?

Yes, it's still essentially required reading. He's writing effective C++11 right now, but it doesn't replace the other three books, it adds to them.

Okay, so by that do you mean that I should buy all of them? Or can I just wait for the C++11 one to come out?
