CJK in ANSI

hi, i have interesting question.
somebody knows how to write korean, chinees, or japanese characters to one byte char not widechar. Is it possible? I think it is possible, when your locale setting set to one of them. Because 0-127 it's standart characters ASCII, and the bytes 128-255 can represent CJK characters. If somebody knows please help.
why i need it.

Japanese...

I think you will spend a long time figuring out the standards tho...

I think it also uses the first 128 as well- except 0-13 or whatever

lookup character encoding (chinese, korean, japanese) ascii on google
