Hi everyone,
I am C++ developer with financial engineering as main field of interest. I studied financial engineering so I have very strong quantitative methods/derivatives pricing etc. background, but feel need to learn more about pure computers. I mean
-hardware
-computer construction
-memory leaks (pointers, etc)
Could you please help me and provide the best books worth of reading, so I don't have to waste time by reading sth when there exists sth better to learn from?
really appreciate
I am thinking about university books which are used on best Universities.
This has little to do with computer science, and nothing to do with your field. I can't imagine any situation where a book on computer engineering would help you at all.
-memory leaks (pointers, etc)
There are no books on memory management that I know of. There just isn't that much to write about on the subject.
If you tell us what you're trying to achieve, perhaps we can give some recommendations.

ofcourse it has. enough to say, that I'm just interested with it, clearly it is important from the speed of algorithms point of view i.e.
