im in the process of making a console based application that edits screen resolution and sets it back after the program is finished for the most part i know what im doing but im wondering how i can get the application to change the screen resolution.

my first question is : Is it possible
my second question is how?

What exactly do you mean by "screen resolution", and what OS are you using?
