problem with compiler

i just installed code blocks on my lap top and i downloaded the gcc 4.4.0 but when i try to build my project i get this error.

"project - Debug" uses an invalid compiler. Skipping...
Nothing to be done.

i have selected the GUN GCC compiler in the build options i have done it with my other computer. do i have to put the gcc folder some where special cuz i just left in on the desktop.

It can't find the folder clearly. Just change the location on where it finds MinGW.
