STL book
Does anyone have opinions about this book, "The C++ Standard Library: A Tutorial and Reference" By Nicolai M Josuttis. Is it good? Useful? Too old? Easy to understand?
I think it is a very good book (I have a pdf version of the 1999 edition - it's time I found a more recent update).
I still have the 1999 version and it is a permanent part of my collection. Although I rarely use it anymore since there are so many online quick references that work just as well. I think that it is a good one to have if you really prefer reading in depth material from a book. Sometimes the online reference doesn't dig deep into the question of how something works.
