hello,
My question might not be directly relevant to this forum, but I believe it is to a certain extent. I am a person who have been using computers for 11 years and I am currently 22 years old. In this whole time, I have learnt a lot about troubleshooting stuff and etc. Now, I am going to do my masters in computer science soon, but I do not know what electives should I choose. I don't really like networking and i do not know about programming as well ( I have never studied programming) But I just know one thing that I will only do good with computers because my instincts work in computer related stuff and I don't feel a burden when I am studying anything about computers. For instance, I started studying a book on C++ Beginners guide and I almost read 40 pages straight without being bored.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks.
Talk to your class mates. They will know more about these classes than you, especially if they have been in them before. Things along this nature are useful to know. Beyond that internet research is the next best suggestion for those who are not religious.
So find some tech job you think you would like. Research it, is it still what you would like to do as work? If so find out what companies require for this job. Are there courses in that area? If so what requisites are required?
You can see how this method can cascade into a larger plan if needed. Best of Luck!
