Compiling in Visual Basic 2008?

I first downloaded Bloodshed's Dev-C++, but a good friend told me to use Visual Basic 2008. In Dev-C++, I had no problem writing the "hello world" program as well as compiling it, but VB will not let me compile it and I cannot figure out how to do it, I've also searched for some VB tutorials, but found nothing.

What's a girl to do? ehe. :)

Well I honestly don't know. Do what you know. Instead of using time trying to figure out Visual Basic maybe you should just learn some syntax's and stuff in devcpp for the time being.
